Male Version

Stop Ricky he's running too fast! Not every one of them is as bad as they seem to be, in fact in theory we will put down these words. We all keep a well cordinated balance between our anima and animus, it's in the nature of human beings. That means the girly sweet verified style you keep has a male counterpart and in most cases exploring what the male counterpart of your soul would be wearing is much more fun than your redundant and sticky self. Step out of that line, explore that male version. Carved well by you this masculine piece will be great, like your own voo-doo doll. Can be destructed and remade for that swagged all out "if i were a boy" perfect! Riish & Liiqe keep thinking about it...Kanye & Ezra?!

Botswana Fashion Week (Stylist's Picks)

For the love of fashion LiiqeRiish went exploring somewhere between Gaborone CBD and Cresta Lodge for some inspiration. Media has been shooting bombs at the show but from us our opinion is entirely different. Young Batswana designers, make-up artists, photographers and models came together to bring a tswanatastic show. From day one the designs were phenomenal, we got our hands dirty with all we could get our hands on. The experience was completely romantic, we got much closer to fashion. Day two was brought on with such brilliance,  the crown was great, the designers super-excited the models too fierce and we're just charmed and cannot wait for next year's show so we can sit front-row and see all the magic happen from less than 30cm away. Here's what we liked!

Watcha Ma Call Em??

It's against the rules they say, in whose books. There really is nothing that's out of line in the Liiqeriish community, you just have to make sure that the theoretical part of what you want to do makes sense (you gutta back it up). Every soul is too liberated to notice and judge some things. For all we know wearing our cardigans backward could be the next huge thing, the same way geek frames are now in style but not a single soul wanted to be associated with those things even by a meter just less than 5 years ago. Things that evolve just don't involve rules, plain and simple! LiiqeRiish. ;)

Gaborone: The Streets Are Sweeter On The Style Side

The Working Class Belle

Natascha wears a gray pencil skirt carefully blended with a floral shirt by a trendy studded skinny belt. Accessory-wise she keeps it simple and basic with crisp white pearls with a touch of pink, a pair of stylish pointe shoes and a popping Prada bag. Spotted at Identity (Riverwalk). We love your style!

The Cool College Student

Lina wears a tan pair of sandals with petite frayed shorts and a loosely fitting ruffled blouse for the utter most comfort. Her accessories well coordinated with the rest of the outfit for a perfect spring/summery look. Now you have more reason to love college! Lina is an exchange student from Norway and she was spotted by the University of Botswana Library.

Home store/120 store: a little place called heaven

A warm welcoming home setting with great music, shopping like it has never been done before. A store that's here today and gone tomorrow, leaving such a great impression upon those who visit. I whole store dedicated to you while you take a look at everything. Taking your time while you're at it. Relaxed, shaking all your troubles off with some retail therapy. And the most amazing attraction about the store is that all the clothes are P120**. I don't think I know anybody in my circle of friends that would say no to that. All these clothes fresh out of London, all well tailored and preserved all too well also. Great brands from H&M to ASOS and Dorothy Perkins. Girls Just Wanna Talk Loud

Don't we all remember being five years old and all life was all about castles and prince charmings. How we all dreamt of one day living in a house that is made of chocolate mousse and never quite figured why grown-ups would always look at us funny whenever we did. You turn 13 and the color pink isn't as charming as it used to be. You start to collect little things that don't make sense to you because it's supposedly some norm at junior high school. Best friends become enemies, school gets meaner and eventually you want to work for a forensics crimes department...huh! We all need a break, this lifetime is too fast. Can't we all just find our fit the same way we find our shoes?? Everything would just be so easy wouldn't it?? We just want to talk loud!!! Now Imagine That As A Photograph :)

Talking loud doesn't necessarily require words!

Rolly Rusty Riish| Randy Nkwe

I am poetry, I am soul...i'm Kanye's enlightening music, the power of word. Mild blackberry crisp and sweet. My style painted heart wanders off to territories far from here for some inspiration. You say mediocrity, I say creative ambition. It makes me feel good, the analytic eye I hold of putting random things together to look appealing to every stranger's eye. Soft, kind enough to let them approach and say hello...children like me know better than talking to strangers. Soul, Hip-hop...my brace-face under the golden Tswana sunshine day. We have waited far too long for the ones like us who want to change the world in silence, sculpt all of Botswana with just one hand (the style hand).
